  • Hi Mitt, These are very helpful suggestions. Group boards have been a very fruitful source of traffic for me. By pinning to a group board you are expanding your reach well beyond your followers on Pinterest.

I like the idea of including the link to the description when you pin. You’re right, that saves a step for the readers and makes it easier for them to arrive at your blog!

    • Hi Carolyn,

      Thank you for your comment.

You could also make one or a few of your boards into group boards. That can help too.

When you add the link make sure you add the whole one as a shortened one is usually considered as spam. They might actually prevent you from adding a shortened one.

  • Those are some great tips, Mitt. I haven’t done as much with Pinterest as I probably show have been doing, but I will look at group boards. I am on one group board, but don’t pin too much to it. I’ll have to start looking for other boards as well.

    • Thank you Paul!

Hope you find some good group boards. There are many of them.

Good one Mitt, It’s very easy for any user on Pinterest to put in your website and pretend to be you. What is crucial is that you get other people to share pins that promote your site with as many people as possible.
