Do you know what the best social media and marketing tools are? Are you using the right social media tools and services to build your online presence?
There are so many easily available online services and tools. It can be hard for you to unearth the right ones.
When I started out, I wish I knew the best tools and services to build my online presence. As I was very cautious back then with an extremely tight budget, I made the mistake of using the cheapest of the cheapest ones I could find as I had no one to guide me the right way. This affected my results. I wish I knew the right tools to use. This doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t go with the cheapest or that you should go with the most expensive tools. You should go with the ones that best suit your business and needs.
To make it easy for you to find the best tools and services I have created a list of resources that I highly recommend to help build your social media and online presence. Many of these tools have been instrumental in helping me construct my websites, blogs and social media presence.

Website hosting:
WP Engine: One of my biggest regrets is that when I started this blog I went with a cheap hosting service. Turns out it was cheap for a reason. My site took ages to load and it regularly crashed.
Switching to WordPress managed hosting later made a massive difference. As soon as I did this my site loaded quickly. This resulted in more traffic from search engines as loading time is a ranking factor. It also increased social media traffic and the overall conversion rate of my site as fewer people abandoned it. My site never crashes.
If you are frustrated with your host, I recommend that you move to WP Engine as I use it for this blog. When you sign up for WP Engine you also get free access to 35 premium WordPress themes from StudioPress. My blog is designed with a StudioPress theme as well.un
Use my special link to get 10% off your first month on WP Engine. If you sign up for an annual plan you also get 3 free months. You can read my review for WP Engine managed hosting here. I list 9 reasons why I use them. I also included some of the cons.
I understand if WP Engine is too expensive for you right now. When I started out I wouldn’t have been able to afford them either. There are some good alternatives you can try instead. One of them is Bluehost.
You will be able to set up your Bluehost hosting account for a few dollars and they also give you a free domain name for the first year.

Convertkit: For my email marketing I use Convertkit. It’s very easy to use and allows me to automate several tasks. I can tag and segment subscribers, create landing pages and do so many other things. You can read my Converkit Review here along with details on why I moved there from Aweber, Drip and ActiveCampaign.
OptinMonster: To convert maximum website visitors into email subscribers I use Optinmonster. It powers my popups and other optin forms. It can be added to any website. They will be introducing many more new features soon that will let you create landing pages, fomo campaigns and more.
Leadpages: To create landing pages I use Leadpages. Its drag and drop builder and templates make it easy to set up any landing page quickly. I have used them to create lead magnet landing pages, consultation pages and product pages. You can read my Leadpages review here.
