Which social network do you trust the most? Is it Pinterest?

Social media has quickly grown to become a highly trustworthy referral engine. As you get to connect with people on these sites and understand who they are and what they specialize in. Therefore when they refer something you’re more likely to listen to them if you think they’re a good source. According to a study by Hubspot, social media has become so influential that people are 71% more likely to purchase something based on social media referrals.

An infographic by JumpThru shows that women trust Blogs and Pinterest more than Twitter and Facebook. The infographic also shows that people prefer different social networks for different purposes. Businesses and marketers need to take their final aim into consideration when they are planning their social media campaign and focus on the social networks that are most effective for that purpose.
