• Hi Mitt, I enjoyed your post. I’d add one more thing though, about Facebook in particular. I think it really depends on your business and who your followers are. It’s true, a lot of people hang out on Facebook, but for many businesses, their clients might be on sites like LinkedIN, Squidoo, or Google+. I think it’s definitly important to create some kind of social networking page, but to make sure your target audience frequents that site.

    For example, my market is mostly small business and non-profits. I’ve found the best response and relationships from LinkedIN.

    • Hi Jon – That’s a good start. But you need to make sure you start getting people to sign up to your newsletter and use it to stay in touch with them. Also get started with facebook. There are more than 800 million active users there. You need to take advantage of this audience.
